In the detail
What you cannot see
from the photograph.
The parts of a piece that decide whether it is still tight years from now are mostly the parts nobody photographs. Here is what is inside this one.
Drawer fronts are back-painted toughened glass, bonded to the carcass rather than clipped on.
The rosewood lozenge is solid, cut from one piece and let into the front.
Blade legs are powder-coated steel and level out on threaded feet.
Three-year structural warranty
Cover on the frame and the joinery, honoured at the showroom that sold it.
Delivered and assembled
On our own trucks, with two people to set the piece up in the room it belongs in.
Built to order
Three to four weeks at the works for anything not already on the showroom floor.
Drawn and made in house
Designed, cut, assembled and finished on our own floor at Gurwalia Vishwas.
