The dealer network
Stock Kinwud.
Keep the whole margin.
Kinwud does not sell online and never has. Every piece leaves our own works on our own trucks and lands on a dealer’s floor, with nobody in between. If you already run a furniture floor, this page is the whole proposition, and the form at the end of it is the whole application.

What you get
Everything except
the middleman.
There is no distributor between our bench and your floor, so the margin that would have paid for one stays with the shop that actually sells the piece. The rest of what a dealer gets is below, in full.
A territory of your own
One dealer to a catchment, written down before you open. We do not put a second board up in your town and we do not sell around you into it.
Straight off our bench
Built on our own 16,000 sq ft floor in West Champaran and loaded onto our own trucks. Nothing passes through a distributor, so nothing is marked up before it reaches you.
Nothing to pay to join
No franchise fee, no royalty on what you sell, no annual renewal. You buy furniture at a dealer price, and that is the whole arrangement.
Display stock, delivered
Your opening range is built to order and set up on your floor by our own people, on credit terms agreed when you place it.
The sample kit
Fabric books, laminate cards and polish samples, refreshed each season, so a customer picks a finish in daylight instead of off a screen.
The warranty is ours
Three-year structural cover sits with us and is honoured through your floor. A claim is our problem to put right, not yours to absorb.
Trained before you open
We take your counter through the materials, the hardware and the finishes, so the floor can answer the questions that actually close a sale.
Photography and print
Catalogue shots, price lists and print supplied ready to use, and local advertising co-funded once you are trading.
Where your stock comes from
Everything on your floor is made in one shed, by people we pay.

How it works
Four steps,
and none of them cost anything.
From the form at the bottom of this page to a floor that is open and selling is about six weeks. Money only changes hands at the last of them, and only for furniture.
-
Five minutes
You send the form
It arrives on the trade desk’s WhatsApp with your catchment, your floor and the range you have in mind already written into it. No account, no attachment, nothing to sign.
-
Two working days
We call you back
A conversation rather than a pitch: what your town already has, what it does not, and whether the catchment you are asking for is still open.
-
A week or two
Territory and terms
The catchment, the dealer price list and the credit terms go in writing, and you sign a plain supply agreement. Still nothing to pay.
-
Three to four weeks
Built, delivered, open
You pick the opening range, the works builds it, our trucks bring it, and our people set it up and train your counter before the doors open.
Before you write
Whether this is
worth your afternoon.
We would rather say this here than on the call. Both columns are honest, and the right-hand one is not a polite no: it is a not yet.
This tends to work
- You already sell furniture, or something next to it, and you know your town’s floor better than we do.
- You have, or can take, somewhere between five hundred and five thousand square feet to display on.
- You would rather stock one maker properly than six of them thinly.
- You can carry an opening order and hold it while the floor turns over.
- Somebody on your counter can talk about how a piece is built, or is willing to be taught.
This tends not to, yet
- You are looking for stock on sale-or-return. Everything that leaves the works is bought.
- You want to sell on a marketplace. Kinwud is not sold that way, by us or by a dealer.
- You want a whole state to yourself on day one. Territory is by catchment, and it widens as you sell.
- You need the range under your own label. It goes out under the Kinwud name or it does not go out.
The arrangement
The terms,
in plain words.
This is the shape of it. The figures inside that shape, your catchment, your credit and your opening range, are settled on the call and put in writing before anything is built.
- Franchise fee
- None. No royalty on sales and no annual renewal.
- Territory
- One dealer to a catchment, agreed in writing before your opening order.
- Supply
- Direct from the works at Gurwalia Vishwas, on our own trucks. No distributor in between.
- Pricing
- A dealer price list you set your own retail against. Nothing on this site is a price you are held to.
- Opening range
- Picked with you from the catalogue and built to order in three to four weeks.
- Credit
- Terms on the opening order agreed when it is placed, against the usual trade paperwork.
- Samples
- Fabric books, laminate cards and polish samples, refreshed each season.
- Warranty
- The three-year structural cover is ours, and is honoured through your floor.
- Marketing
- Photography, price lists and print supplied. Local advertising co-funded once you are trading.
- Restocking
- A seasonal call and a standing order, on the same trucks that brought the first load.
The application
Tell us about
your floor.
Five minutes, and it goes straight to the trade desk on WhatsApp. There is no account to make, nothing to attach, and no inbox for it to sit unread in.
Asked before
The questions that
come up on the call.
Answered here so the call can be about your town instead. Anything not covered, put it in the last box of the form.
Do I need a showroom already?
It helps, and it is not a condition. Some of the floors opening now are new rooms taken by people who were already in the trade. Say on the form that you are still looking, and the call becomes a conversation about what the catchment actually needs.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing to join. There is no franchise fee, no royalty on what you sell and no annual renewal. Your only outlay is the opening order itself, and that range is picked with you rather than handed to you.
How is the territory decided?
By catchment rather than by a line on a map. We agree in writing what is yours before you place an opening order, and we do not appoint a second dealer inside it or sell around you into it.
Can I sell Kinwud online?
No, and neither do we. These pieces are sold off a floor, in person, by somebody who can open a drawer and knock on a frame. What you may do is use our photography and catalogue to bring people to that floor.
How long from applying to opening?
About six weeks in a straightforward case: a couple of days to the first call, a week or two to settle the catchment and the terms, then three to four weeks at the works building your opening range.
How does stock reach me?
On our own trucks, from the works at Gurwalia Vishwas. The opening order is delivered and set up on your floor by our people, and restocking runs on the same trucks each season.
Is there already a dealer in my city?
There may be. One Kinwud floor is open today, in Bettiah, and the rest of the map is still being filled in. Send the form and we will tell you on the call whether your catchment is free.
What happens when I press send?
Your browser opens WhatsApp with the whole application already written out and addressed to our trade desk. Nothing is stored on this website. You read it, you press send, and the copy stays in your own chat.
