In the detail
What you cannot see
from the photograph.
The parts of a piece that decide whether it is still tight years from now are mostly the parts nobody photographs. Here is what is inside this one.
An MDF body under a sprayed PU finish, which is what lets the curve carry colour with no edge band to follow it.
The curve is cut on a template and rubbed back by hand, so ivory meets walnut without a shadow line.
A low headboard, which suits a room with a window behind the bed. The hydraulic box lifts from the foot end and stays open on its own.
Three-year structural warranty
Cover on the frame and the joinery, honoured at the showroom that sold it.
Delivered and assembled
On our own trucks, with two people to set the piece up in the room it belongs in.
Built to order
Three to four weeks at the works for anything not already on the showroom floor.
Drawn and made in house
Designed, cut, assembled and finished on our own floor at Gurwalia Vishwas.
